The marina parking will be reserved for event participants, personnel, and other related officials. Free parking at waking distance from the venue will be available./マリーナの駐車場は、関係者用に制限されますが、徒歩圏内に無料駐車場を準備しています。
Can I purchase regatta insurance (Third part liability) from you? 大会で保険（第三者責任賠償）を購入することができますか。
Unfortunately local insurance brokers will not be able to arrange such insurance for you on site. I would like you to arrange on your side before coming to Japan. The easiest way we normally recommend is to include third party liability coverage into travel package insurance. 残念ながら、地元の保険ブローカーは、そのような保険を現地で手配することができません。 日本に来る前に、あなたの側で手配をお願いします。 私たちが通常お勧めする最も簡単な方法は、旅行パッケージ保険に第三者責任補償を含めることです。

Is there charter boats available for radial mens worlds? ラジアル男子用にチャーター艇がありますか。
After using 160 charter lasers for STANDARD MEN’S, RADIAL WOMEN’S will use 120 lasers, so 40 are for RADIAL MEN’S. 160艇をスタンダード男子が使用した後、ラジアル女子が120艇を使いますので、40艇はラジアル男子用です。

About Laser Class/レーザー級とは
Do competitors bring their boats from their own countries?/選手は艇を自国から持ってくるのですか。
Standard men sailors and Radial women sailors must use charter boats for this event; competitors do not need to bring their own boats. However, Radial men sailors need their own boats. Radial men sailors from overseas need to purchase/borrow boats in Japan or bring their own boats./今大会で、スタンダード男子とラジアル女子は、全艇新艇のチャーター艇ですので艇を持ち込む必要はありません。ただし、ラジアル男子だけは、自艇持ち込みとなりますので、外国選手は、日本で艇を購入するか借りるか、または自国から持ってくる必要があります。

Around 60 countries will compete in the event./約60ヶ国が出場します。

There are 160 Standard men sailors (of which 15 are Japanese) and 120 Radial female sailors (of which 15 are Japanese). There are 70 Radial men sailors(of which 50 are Japanese)./スタンダード男子160名（内、日本人約15名）、ラジアル女子120名（内、日本人約15名）、ラジアル男子70名（内、日本人約50名）です。
Are these championships connected to the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games?/この大会は2020東京オリンピックに関係しているのですか。
This event is of great importance for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic as the wimmers will secure an invitation to the olympics for their country. For the Standard men sailors, 5 spots will be granted, and for the Radial women sailors, 10 spots will be granted./はい。2020東京オリンピックの国枠がかかった大切な大会です。スタンダード男子は5枠、ラジアル女子は10枠がこの大会で決まります。
How far is the race course from the shore?/陸からどれくらい離れてレースをしますか。
The race course is located a few kilometers off the shore. However, depending on winds, navigation markers can be set as close as 500 meters from the coast./数キロ離れますが、風によっては、岸から500m程度離れたところに回航マークが打たれることもあります。
Can the races be watched from the shore?/陸で観戦できますか。
A giant screen will be set up in the public area next to the marina for spectators to watch the event./はい。マリーナ内の特設テントに大型モニターを設置しますので、視聴できます。
Will there be spectator boats? If yes, will reservations be required? What will the cost be?/観覧船はありますか。予約は必要ですか。また料金はかかりますか。
Spectator boats will be arranged. Priority will be given to spectators with reservations but any available space will be filled on a first come first served basis on event days./はい。無料の観覧船を準備します。予約は不要です。
How long are the races?/1レースにかかる時間はどれくらいですか。
Races last 1 hour./1レースは約1時間です。
How many races will there be per day? How many races will there be in total in the championships?/一日に何レース、また全部で何レースですか。
Two races will be held per day for a total of 12 races for the whole event. However, weather and wind condtions may impact the number of races held in on any given day./一日に2レース予定で最大12レース行われますが、天候や風の具合によっては、一日のレース数が変更されることもあります。
How are rankings determined?/どのように順位が決まりますか。
The entire float departs at the same time and sails around the predetermined course. Sailors who cross the finish line are given a number of points (from 1 point for first place, two points for second place, etc.) Once all the races are completed, the sailor with the lowest number of points is crowned as the winner (depending on the number of races, the worst score is deducted from the total.)/フリートごとに一斉にスタートし、決められたコースを回ってフィニッシュした艇から1点、2点と点数が与えられ、（レース数によっては、一番悪いレースを削除した）総レースの合計点の少ない選手が優勝です。
Will reservations be necessary to enter the venue. If so, what will the cost be?/会場への入場に予約はいりますか。また料金がかかりますか。
No reservations are required to enter the venue (some areas will be off limits.) Entry is free./会場（入れるエリアに制限があります）への入場に予約は必要ありません。料金もかかりません。

The opening and awards ceremonies will be held in the public space near the venue and will be open to public. However should bad weather force us to relocate, the ceremonies will only be open to the people concerned./会場で行われるスタンダード男子の表彰式およびラジアル女子＆男子の式典についてはご覧いただけますが、悪天候時等により式典会場が変更となった場合は申し訳ありませんが、関係者のみとさせていただきます。
